OK, this thread is 2 years old, but it's pretty much as pertinent as ever. Probably the worse outage since the one discussed above! Sorry for the inconvenience.

Tony, what happened? Pretty convienent (sp?) to have a 2 year old thread ready and waiting. ;)

Anyway, good to have it back on (I was going through withdrawls).

Power outage at the data center brought all the servers down, techs misdiagnosed the issue and took erroneous steps to try to correct, resulting in them needing to spend the whole day re-installing OSes and bringing servers/databases back online. Glad to be back!! Same here with the withdrawals.

damn, and I had the coolest thread idea but now I've forgotten it......
