none of them yet (soon a bimac) but i have got a spider that lives on me kitchen window ledge called Archie who i feed moths an catapillars almost every day to. im tryin to teach him to recognise me by tappin by his den when i come to see him. which seems to be workin as he used to be a nervous wreck an now he comes an runs right across the ledge to catch the food i bring him!!! seriously!!! lol

he's called Archie cause (Colin will appreciate this!!!!) i found him there about a year an half ago an forgot about him until not long ago, when i rediscovered him on the day Scotland played Holland an won one-nil.........had to be called Archie after Archie Gemill (spellin?) from the last one-niler between Scot-Holl

for those who dont understand watch the film trainspottin!!! you will then

(sorry to the dutch on here, but your compensation is Amsterdam, :smoke:  :smoke: :bugout: :smoke: :goofysca: :smoke: :bonk: :wine:  :arr: :headphon:  8) excellent!!)

I did keep a bimac, Ollie, but she died about 6 weeks ago. So I'm between octopuses, and intend to get another bimac, but not in the near future.

Right now I have a small invertebrate tank with a very friendly cleaner shrimp (skunk shrimp) who comes whenever he sees either of us. Also hermit crabs, snails, big featherduster, strange mushroom anemone, etc.

Right now I have a bimac named Ocho. He has two camel shrimp tankmates and 1 out of 20 hermits that were in there originally there are two mollies that were bought to give Ocho something to chase. There are some tiny snails but i am not sure were they came from. haven't added anything new to the tank in over a year besides Ocho and the mollies. I also breed cockatiels and have a kitty cat and a small fresh water tank in the boys room.

Those little rice take out containers work well to keep cats in if you divide them up......but that's just what I heard :bonk:

I love cats(mmmmmmm)just kidding

joel_ang
Feb 29th, 2004, 01:54am
It also depends on what cat you get, pygmy cats will do nicely in a 20 g but the giant pacific felines should not be kept except in the biggest of tanks. :)

You do have alot of pets Spring!

Hrm. My freshwater fish population declined when I started into saltwater. But I sill have a 10-year old catfish as well as a breeding pair of angelfish. I loved them too much to give them up like the others.

In my 75 gal salt tank, I just got my new baby. He is oh so cute and cuddly. I named him Snowflake...... the snowflake moray. With a name like that, I couldnt resist keeping it. He's a little guy right now, only 7 inches. Soon as I introduced him, he started beating up on a local species shrimp eel that is more than twice his length. He also freaks out my yellow tail damsel by stealing his cave. Already he is very brave: he will take his food straight from my hand without hesitating.

Thats it for my pets...for now. At least until i move out of the dorm

Hi scouse :)

Scouse
Mar 26th, 2004, 08:57am
alright Colin

its a 'Scouse-cockney-posh-little-fatty-arantula', dunno if youve heard of em but there leathal!!!

They can swim the backstroke, lift cars, an play football. This one is quite partial to a bit of break dancin aswell which is quite unheard of, except for the blue spotted cousins of these which apparently do it professionally.

I've come in on a couple of occasions to find some tunes playin an him spinnin round on some lino, but as soon as he hears the front door close he's whizzin round packin it all away an sittin in his tunnel. Amazin!!!

I'll try an get an action shot this weekend!!!

I personally don't keep one (no time!) but at work we have and care for the NZ Common Octopus Pinnoctopus cordiformis, the Midget Octopus Octopus spp (most likely O. warringa ) and sometimes the sepiolid Sepioloidea pacifica and very very very occasionally for very very very VERY short periods of time juvenile ommastrephid squid Nototodarus sloanii
