Last night I put a blue smaller Lego, or I quess it's actually a Megablock in with Lil Pumpkin. At first he was analyzing it from all angles! Then he crept up on it and moved it around some. At one point he was 1/2 out of the water feeling in the holes at the bottom of the lego which were floating towards the top! I am going to find my daughtors smaller legos and put some different colors in to see what he does, and what color he seems to favor.

Also, seems like Rugrats are the favorite show at the moment! Whenever Jess has it on, there's Lil P plastered on the tank watching!! :mrgreen:

I wonder what a television image looks like to an octopus.

Pudge used to like the Simpsons, but all I have in my room is a B&W TV so he probably couldn't tell the difference between that and Seinfeld.

That is one huge block for the octo. Maybe the rugrats big head look somewhat mantle like?

What's the armspan of Lil P?

Lil P's leg length has to be about 2" now. This morning he was watching Rugrats! Today, I am going to find the "real" legos and put in one of each color and see what he does!

yeah sometimes i forget too as we are in that limbo stage between gallons and litres, inches and cm etc etc... When i was doing all the measuring of wood for sawing when i was refitting the house, i was using both cm and inches.. just whatever was closest :)

He's tiny! But has grown, he was the size of a dime maybe even a little smaller when he arrived!!!! :)

In fact... tomorrow is 4 months!! He arrived on October 11, means he must be 5 months old, cause I figure he had to be a month or so when he arrived!

An intereting comment on the Lil P measurement: I went back to my estimate of Ollie's size when she arrived. She was just the size Lil P is now. Octopets told me that they ship babies at about 2 1/2 months old, so that would mean that Lil P is over 6 months old. That would also mean that Ink, Ollie and Roxy were probably more like 16 + months old when they passed away.

Nope. When Ollie was the size Lil P is now, then she would be a lil 6 months old. Not 2 1/2 months.

I think what Nancy is trying to say is that Carol probably got Lil P when he was about 2 months old. 2 months + the 4 months that Carol has had Lil P = 6 months. :)

That's right, Joel, and each of our bimacs lived about 10 months, so
6+10 = 16
