Whats the minimum tank size for an octo :? :notworth: neptune Feb 6th, 2004, 01:14pm Welcome to Tonmo, Depends entirely on species, as their size varies greatly, but generally a 50-55 g would work for a bimac. Colin Feb 6th, 2004, 03:23pm welcome to tonmo.... yep thats about minimum to doa good job of it NickA5582 Feb 6th, 2004, 04:23pm :welcome: to TONMO, KalihiBoy! Burstsovenergy24 Feb 6th, 2004, 05:00pm :welcome: ! A 55 gallon tank is great! Do you have one? Do you have any aquariums? :D joel_ang Feb 6th, 2004, 09:04pm :welcome: to TONMO.com Kalihiboy! Hope you'll have a great time here :heee: KalihiBoy Feb 7th, 2004, 12:44am Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. :D Well yeah I do have a 55gal,but I have fish and inverts in it. Could I keap an octo with all of them in the same tank? :) Burstsovenergy24 Feb 7th, 2004, 12:51am Well no not really. Either the octo would eat the fish or the fish might eat the octo. What exactly do you have in there? KalihiBoy Feb 7th, 2004, 12:59am I got a blue throat triggerfish,a potters angelfish,4 frilled gobies,a blennie,a long nose buterfly,3 sea urchins,4-5 brittle stars,2 hermits,a rock crab and 2 cowries. :heee: I live in HAWAII,and some people I know cought there own octo's from the beach. Got any comments :?:  :thumbsdo: Colin Feb 7th, 2004, 02:52am As long as its legal then fine.. most species outwith Octopus bimaculoides are wild caught... maybe you'll get lucky and catch an Octopus cyanea??? that's a definite 'no' to the fish mixing by the way :) KalihiBoy Feb 7th, 2004, 03:21am Thanks alot for the info :notworth: Just one more question, what do i use for aquascaping? Burstsovenergy24 Feb 7th, 2004, 03:24am Live Rock Base Rock Dead Corals Plastic Corals Coral Sand Silver Sand Gravel Plastic Pipes Caves Macroalgae I wonder where I got that from? :heee: KalihiBoy Feb 7th, 2004, 03:28am THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE INFO :D God Bless! :D Burstsovenergy24 Feb 7th, 2004, 03:37am No problem. :) NickA5582 Feb 7th, 2004, 10:51am Got any comments :?:  :thumbsdo: Catch me a stubbby squid or two! :P Good luck with your tank!
