Jean Feb 1st, 2004, 04:46pm Thanks for the nice comments all. The squid contains aound 100 beads each earring and they take about an hour to make a pair (all hand stitched you understand!). The red ones are filamentous red algae (specially designed for the botanist on the aq staff..............now she wants kelp :o ) the "black" ones (actually a VERY dark purple :D ) are the first attempt at an octi :oops: the design needs reworking!!!!!!!!!!!! I may decide to sell on Tonmo, but at the moment i'm working at three jobs plus trying to write papers so it could be a while happening!
