I seem to remember that green brittle starfish might try to kill a baby octo. Is this true?

possibly, but the size diffeence should be carefully watched...

The green serpents are pretty good at catching living food and i suppose a baby octo could be classed as food for them so dont put one in until the octo is comparable in size... that goes for red brittles too to be safe..
