They removed a tiny sample of the eggs for display in a separate jar and then delicately stitched the squid back up with white linen thread.

It was black...mostly. Steve found some brownish thread..sigh, we are holding it all up to the dawn to see when we can distinguish white from black............

The video associated with it is the WORST piece of 'journalism/television' I have ever watched/listened to! 99% of what is said is a complete fabrication and untruth.

That deserves a complaint!

Yeah, for some reason I don't think it was chocolate bars the were fueling the team :wink:

I think Steve is complaining more about the report that they cut up the squid and showed pictures of the smaller damaged animal being disected to corroborate their fabrication. It appears that the photographers turned in the film and someone not present wrote the script.

And we didn't rip the mantle open at all....
