Do you cry yourself to sleep for the lack of a flying squid? Well, stop it. The Japanese are here.
CLICK HERE (http://www.d4.dion.ne.jp/~yasuki_s/origami2.htm) for instructions on folding your very own flying squid paper airplane. The result is an extremely solid flyer that can travel quite far, given sufficient room. (The squared-off nose also reduces the likelihood that a family member or friend will be poked in the eye.) Attached below is an example of the finished product, slightly modified with down-swept wingtips. And eyebrows.
Happy flying.
