I felt like I ought to post something somewhere after bothering to join. I do not own a cephalopod (unless you count Socky the Socktopus) and I don't plan to any time soon. Until I found this site I didn't even think it was possible for a normal average person not in the service of a lab to keep one, considering how high maintenance and fragile most of them are. (Especially the octopus, which is such an amazing escape artist- can you really octo-proof a tank?) Someday I think I would like to have maybe a small octopus or a cuttlefish, but for right now it is absolutely impossible. Instead, I'd like to just enjoy yours. I hope you don't mind gaining a lurker.

Welcome to the nuthouse, we all love cephs, though many of us don't own them.
