Steve O'Shea May 26th, 2008, 03:32pm I love how this story has changed since it was first reported.
It was giant, then became colossal, reported to have been live when caught, then dead, 26 feet down to 20 feet .....
It is a month-or-so early for Australian captures to start, although we had one here 2 weeks ago also; odd.

Thats probably because they are incorrectly using imperial and metric units of measure to judge the size of the squid. Everyone knows that the correct unit of measure in such cases is the International Standard Double-decker Bus (Isdb).
