I'm pleased to share 3 wonderful videos, contributed by Dr. Roy Caldwell (thank you Dr. Caldwell, and thank you Nancy for facilitating!)...
Per Roy:
The video was taken through a dissecting scope. The animal was a 12 hour old Hapalochlaena lunulata hatchling that was about 2 mm long. At this stage the blue rings are not visible.
A very fine paint brush was used to stimulate the behavior.
