This (http://www.myconfinedspace.com/2007/10/17/octopus-in-a-aquarium/) has no background info, but I find it fascinating:

I don't think I've ever seen a small octo with that much webbing. It looks like they've got it in a rather small tank; I hope it's an open circulation system or plumbed to something bigger.

Anyway, I'm curious if you ID experts can name that octo...

It could be Ameloctopus litoralis. Kinda looks like it, but I'm not sure.

Although the arms are thin like in Ameloctopus, the webbing is much too deep. It almost looks like a brown mimic but there's really no way to tell. Judging by how faint the skin patterns are , it lmost looks like it's starting to go into senescence
